Oppo has announced that its upcoming Oppo Ace 2 smartphone will be equipped with its patented fast-charging system, 65W SuperVOOC 2.0. It was also indicated that the smartphone comes with wireless charging support.

Oppo Ace 2 will launch in China on April 13, and the phone has already been leaked several times. A live image and renderers on TENAA gave us a fascinating look at the design of the phone, but now we have it on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo thanks to a few looking renders of Oppo Ace 2. Oppo Ace 2 images show that the phone will come in black and purple colors. It also reveals a quad-camera setup inside a circular module similar to the one we saw on the OnePlus 7T (review). We can see a punch-hole cutout at the top left corner in front of the unit. We also see 5G presenting those listed, reaffirming that the phone will come with 5G support.

Brief description of Oppo Ace 2

Oppo Ace 2 is the new smartphone of Oppo. The touchscreen display comes with the phone. The Oppo Ace 2 is expected to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and come with 8GB of RAM. Oppo Ace 2 supports super VOOC fast charging.

It is expected that the Oppo Ace 2 will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The live image of the previously seen unit shows a USB-C port at the bottom of the handset, as well as a dual speaker grille. For stability, the phone is expected to sport a 6.5-inch full HD + AMOLED display with a fingerprint sensor in-line.

Oppo Ace 2 cameras- As far as the cameras are concerned, Oppo Ace 2 is rumored to pack a rear camera. It is expected to sport a camera on the front for the selfie.

The Oppo Ace 2 has Android 10-based ColorOS 7.0 and a built-in storage pack 128 GB, which can be extended with a dedicated slot via microSD card. Oppo Ace 2 is a dual-SIM smartphone embracing a nano-sim smartphone. It is said to debut in the colors of Moon Rock Ash and Fantasy Purple.

Oppo Ace 2 connectivity options- Connectivity options on Oppo Ace 2 include Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C, FM radio, 3G, and 4G (with support for band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor are rumored to include sensors on the handset. Oppo Ace 2 supports Face Unlock.

The Oppo Ace 2 is likely to support dual-band Wi-Fi running on Android 10, and it is speculated that the phone comes with dual batteries and supports 65W fast charging. No word has yet been made on what kind of sensors will be included in the quad-camera setup.
